What an exciting time of year Christmas is; a time where we remember and celebrate the birthday of Jesus Christ.  I love this time of year.

  • I love decorating and putting lights on the house (actually watching Stephen put lights on the house).
  • I love getting the electric train out and setting it up so I can watch the kids faces when they see it for the first time.
  • I love the music of Christmas. The songs never get old to me. I even sing them during the year. I know I’m strange but I still love the songs.
  • I love driving around the different neighborhoods and looking at their lights, comparing mine to theirs and wishing I could put more lights on the house. Can anyone say Clark Griswold?
  • I love the parties, the fellowship and all the sweet stuff you get to eat during this time of year and you don’t even feel guilty about over eating.
  • I love the fact that I get to play Santa Clause to my family and the Grand Kids. How cool is that?

I love Christmas because I love Jesus. He made ALL this possible. If He had not come to earth as a little baby, grow up to be a man and die on a cross for you and me, none of these things I love so much would even be here. Jesus is what makes Christmas so special.

This year, give Jesus a birthday gift.  Commit your life to Him. Open the free gift of salvation that He offers you through Jesus Christ. Then you will be able to say I LOVE CHRISTMAS.
